3. DANDY CAN!

The high-pressure water wash system cleans the inside of your can leaving you with a clean can – a Dandy can!

  • What does Dandy Cans do?
We clean, sanitize, disinfect and deodorize outdoor trash, recycle, and yard waste cans.
  • How does it work?
We come out the same day your local trash company empties your trash bins. Once your bins have been emptied, Dandy Cans will load your bins into our specially designed cleaning machine that will clean, sanitize, disinfect and deodorize your trash bins, leaving them smelling fresh and clean. Our Machine’s high pressure and biodegradable detergent kill 99% of all germs and bacteria.
  • Why use Dandy Cans instead of cleaning the cans myself?
Just using a hose and brush to clean your trash and recycle bins is not sufficient to remove and kill the bacteria and diseases that breed in your bins.
  • How much water do you use to clean 1 can?
1 bin takes between 3 and 5 gallons of water depending on the condition of the can. If you were to clean your own can using a hose, you could easily waste 15 gallons or more. Our trucks have an on-board 3 stage filtration system that recycles the waste water. This allows our water to work harder and clean more cans than just a single cleaning.
  • What do you do with the waste water?
All waste water is collected and properly disposed of at an approved water treatment facility.
  • Are your chemicals hazardous to children, pets, and landscaping?"
No. All of our chemicals are Non-toxic, bio-degradalbe solutions that will not harm the environment.
  • Can I alternate or rotate cans each cleaning cycle?
No. Each container has its own identification and will be cleaned each service cycle.
  • How will I know my can(s) have been cleaned?
After cleaning our driver will leave a door hanger letting you know our services were provided with an invoice, and payment details. And you’ll see and smell the difference!
  • What if I am away and cannot have my empty trash bins available to you on my service day?
No problem. Simply call or email us in advance of your cleaning day and we will credit you for that month, skip your cleaning and see you the following month. Unfortunately, if you don’t notify us and we show up to provide the service, your account cannot be credited.
  • What if a little trash is left in my can after it’s been emptied?
All garbage must be removed. If garbage is left in the cans, the cans may be refused service.
